A Work of Art

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]A commitment with rose gold and rubies. Mark presented me with a beautiful work of art as my engagement ring.

The rubies swirl around a beautiful diamond in a yin yang design. Mark designed and made the ring by hand, using my favourite metal and stones.

The diamond and emerald ring is nestled between a platinum wedding ring and eternity ring, each of which has a koru design which matches Mark’s own wedding ring.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Watching Mark at his bench has always fascinated me. The enthusiasm and passion he has for his work is inspiring. This is the most beautiful jewellery I have ever owned and the love and passion Mark poured into these rings makes them the most precious too.

The Cocoon

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]A client, Roy, approached Mark with an idea he had for his wife. Many jewellers were uninterested, or lacked the skills to make it happen, however, Mark was happy to listen to Roy’s ideas and soon became as excited by the project as his new client. As it was a surprise, much of the communication happened online but soon ideas were swapped regarding the design of a cocoon locket and Mark was able to begin to make the piece.

When the locket was ready, Roy and his wife, Kathryn, travelled to Hartlepool where the finished piece was presented.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

To say we were delighted is an understatement. The locket was stunning and more importantly Kathryn was thrilled! Since receiving the locket and wearing it, many have commented on how beautiful and unusual it is. True craftsmanship.
